Who We Are
Our Mission
Our mission at Red Rocks Baptist Church is “To Know Christ And To Make Him Known.” We desire to reach the Morrison and Lakewood area with the gospel. Jesus Christ has changed our lives, and we want to share the good news that He can change your life as well. Having a relationship with Jesus is the heartbeat behind all that we do.
Our Church’s Culture
Scripture calls the church a “family”. Here at Red Rocks, we work toward having a culture of grace, a family atmosphere that celebrates the gospel and treats others the way God treats us in Christ.
Our Calling as Disciples
We embrace our identity as disciples, learning to love and follow Jesus through the power of the Spirit. This includes four lifestyle habits that lead to spiritual maturity:
1. Worship with Thankfulness
daily presenting oneself as a living sacrifice and weekly gathering for corporate worship
2. Grow in Wisdom
engaging with the Word over time with fellow believers in prayerful dependence on the Spirit
3. Talk about Jesus
speaking the Word of Christ to both unbelievers and believers
4. Live in Community
intentionally developing relationships with unbelievers while walking through life alongside other believers
