 Nursery

On Sunday mornings nursery care is open to infants up to two years of age (Sunday evenings up to three years old). Nursery care is offered during the Sunday School hour as well as the morning service beginning 15 minutes prior to the service start time. Volunteers are screened and a sign in/sign out procedure is in place to ensure a safe environment where the children are cared for during the services you attend.

Sunday School

Teaching children is a major responsibility and privilege of the local church. Sunday school classes are set up for 2-3 year olds, 4-5 year olds, 1-3 grade students and 4-6 grade students. These classes take place Sundays from 9:30-10:15 a.m.  The classrooms are kept clean and a sign in/out procedure is followed. We use the Answers in Genesis Sunday School material to teach the children the truth of Scripture.

Children’s Church

During the morning worship service the 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds have children’s church. The 1-4th grade students begin in the main worship service and are dismissed to children’s church. The goal of children’s church is to teach the Bible to children on their age level and give practical, age-appropriate application.

Summer Program

Each summer, RRBC provides an exciting program for children. Throughout the summer, your child will have the chance to have fun, learn about God, and be a part of a team! Kids will be split into two teams and will compete against each other each week. We can’t wait for the summer to begin. Our first meeting is on the first Sunday of June at 5:30 PM. The cost is $10 per child (this comes with a free T-shirt).

AWANA Program

During the Sunday evening service children ages three through sixth grade attend the AWANA program. AWANA seeks to reach children with the Gospel and engage them in long-term discipleship. These programs emphasize Scripture memory and Scripture lessons as well as singing and a game time. The AWANA program starts at 5:30 p.m. with Cubbies for preschoolers, Sparks for K5 through second grade and Truth and Training for third through sixth grade students.

Each November the AWANA clubs collect items for Operation Christmas Child, a ministry that sends shoeboxes packed with small gifts to disadvantaged children across the world. The children who receive these boxes are invited to an evangelistic Bible study designed to bring the Gospel to these needy areas of the world.
